Our Restaurant and Comfortable Lounge

Our restaurant is currently closed until further notice, apologies for any inconvenience.

The restaurant is split into two areas. The first, with 14th century carved oak ceilings and beamed walls. Perfect for family meals or get-togethers, the second area is a recently-completed extension.

Restaurant and Lounge

Enjoy a meal in one of our interesting rooms at Elm Farm Country House. The Lounge is the oldest part of Elm Farm and, reputedly, the ceiling was reclaimed from another building when the farm was built in 1604. We are still researching where it came from but it is claimed to be over 600 years old, with hand carved beams and oak panels. You can’t help but look up during your meal to enjoy its splendour!

The Function Room

The Function Room, which is mainly used for private functions, was constructed in the early eighties. This room can seat up to 100 guests; it has a calm and relaxed feel with neutral colours to match any theme. Finally, our new extension, completed in 2011, which has been constructed using traditional methods to complement the original building – it often surprises our guests who at first believe it to be original. Seating 70 guests, it is often used for larger parties or events and has a dance floor as well as easy access to the main bar.
